Gustav Klimt’s iconic masterpiece, The Kiss, is now available for purchase as a limited edition NFT. The Belvedere Museum in Vienna has transformed this world-famous work of art into a digital form, offering 10,000 unique NFTs for sale. The high-resolution image was divided into a 100 x 100 grid, with each NFT representing a unique fraction of the digital image. The process of buying the NFT of The Kiss is simple. The NFTs can be purchased using either the Ethereum cryptocurrency, a credit card, Paypal, or wire transfer (SEPA). The certificate issued for each fraction of the image shows precisely which part of the high-resolution digital image was purchased.
